Professional Development Programs

Get together with an artist to brainstorm how to use the arts to teach and reinforce curriculum from the Standards of Learning. During an hour-long after school workshop, up to 35 teachers can bring their SOL scope and sequence materials to the session and create lesson plans using the arts. The following artists were carefully selected and trained to lead these sessions.
