Professional Development Programs
Get together with an artist
to brainstorm how to use the arts to teach and reinforce curriculum
from the Standards of Learning. During an hour-long after school
workshop, up to 35 teachers can bring their SOL scope and sequence
materials to the session and create lesson plans using the arts.
The following artists were carefully selected and trained to lead
these sessions.
Note: Minimum of three workshops per artist, per school, per day
must be booked when scheduled without a performance.

A published poet is your guide through the overwhelming world of
poetry instruction. Choose from a wealth of specializations to best

Accent your curriculum by introducing your students to the magic
of theatre games. In this workshop by Steve Kohrherr, educators
and parents learn simple exercises that help bring the fun of drama
into the classroom.
